Our vehicles can comfortably seat eight people and has a good capacity for luggage, golf clubs, etc.
Larger groups can also be catered for. Each Rustic Guide can drive up to a 16-seated minibus vehicle. This would entail hire of a different vehicle.
For larger groups we can arrange a coach and driver, and provide our service as simply tour guides for the day
Availability of a larger vehicle may be restricted in the summer time, so please leave plenty of time to arrange your tour with us
Our guides can pick you up and drop you off wherever you need. We can collect and return you from your hotel, B&B, airport or cruise port all over the Highlands of Scotland. Whatever your need we can accommodate it!
Due to our base in the beautiful North West coast of Scotland we can accommodate multi-day tours of 4 days or more from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow or elsewhere in Scotland.
We are available to tour at any time of year, Scotland is a stunningly beautiful country all year round.
Each season has its own character visually but be aware that Scotland’s weather can be unforgiving at any time, so wrap up warm and wear suitable footwear.
Of course! Our guides have a lot of experience with families of all ages. In the UK it is a legal requirement for babies and young children to have safety seats on board the vehicle. We can provide these for your family, just let us know in advance. Remember to equip your child/children with suitable footwear and a warm jacket. Scotland's weather can be harsh any time of year!
Clothing - Scotland's weather can be changeable, so its best to be prepared for all-weathers. We would recommend light waterproof jacket, and some practical shoes or boots that are comfortable to walk in. Sometimes we walk on rough ground that is a bit damp under-foot. Of course bring your swimsuit and sunscreen too! ... seriously :)
The cost of your tour includes; Vehicle transportation, fuel and the services of your driver-guide. Cost of the tour does excludes; Accommodation - We can arrange this for you but payment would be made directly from you to accommodation provider. Meals - We can make recommendations and reservations based on local knowledge, from top restaurants to the best picnic spots. Where you eat and sleep are an important part of your experience and we want you to have the best! If any of your party has any allergies or intolerances, please let us know in advance and this can be catered for.
On all our tours the guiding is in English.
